Donate Your Car to the YMCA

You can avoid the headaches of selling a used vehicle- no expensive ads, no taking phone calls, no showing the vehicle…Let us provide you with a perfect solution to turning you unwanted vehicle into a tax write-off. All vehicles donated to the Y are resold through Goodwill’s Auto Auction. Revenue generated by the donation and sale of these vehicles helps us provide funding for our programs.  If you itemize your tax return, you can claim a deduction of the value of your donation.  For more information, contact Suzanne Printz at 724-834-0150, ext. 112.

Annual Support Campaign

The Greensburg YMCA is dedicated to building strong kids, strong families and a strong community. Every YMCA program is designed with these goals in mind and our youth grow spiritually, mentally, and physically.

Our plan is a simple one. We’re asking business and individuals to make a commitment to build today’s children as tomorrow’s leaders.  Every year a volunteer core of the YMCA Board Members, YMCA members and community individuals embark on a goal to raise funds that will subsidize programs and memberships for families who cannot afford to pay full fees.

Through youth programs such as Child Care, Day Camp, Aquatics, Youth Sports, Gymnastics, Youth and Government Club and out Emergency Youth Shelter, we strive to build tomorrows leaders.

This is how you can help:

$50 – Helps a child learn to swim.

$100 – Helps three children to build character and confidence in youth sports

$250 – Nurtures two children for two weeks in child care, so their parents can work without worry.

$1000 – Sends three children to summer day camp all summer to grow in self reliance.

$1200 – Gives 3 single parent families a one year YMCA member ship so they can spend time doing things together.
