- Immediate Need - Early Childhood Learning Center Head Teacher
This is a year round, full time position in our Early Childhood Learning Center. Experience with maintaining and operating a toddler classroom, inclusive of all curriculum requirements, adhering to all licensing standards and maintaining all expectations that come with being a Keystone STARS 3 center. Dedicated, enthusiastic, energetic individual who has passion for young children is a must! - Immediate Need - Administrative Assistant
The Greensburg YMCA is looking for an Administrative Assistant to provide support with day to day tasks, personnel and payroll administration, applicable laws, handling and processing of all committee minutes, membership letters and other administrative duties as assigned. This position will be the point of contact for volunteers within the community, as well as, managing the volunteer tracking process. We are also looking for someone that has an interest in learning special events and is comfortable presenting in large groups.
The ideal candidate would have at least one (1) year of basic clerical experience with an Associate’s degree preferred (but not required).
This position is a part time position not to exceed 29 hours per week with the flexibility of working from home. The hourly starting rate will be between $9-$11 per hour with Y employee benefits including free membership, discounts on programming, etc.

- Immediate Need - Lifeguard/Instructor
The Greensburg YMCA is looking for yearly and seasonal lifeguards to work in our six lane lap pool, warm water pool, outdoor pool. The Lifeguard/Instructor will be responsible for monitoring activities at the pool, caution swimmers regarding unsafe practices and safety hazards, enforce and adhere to pool rules and regulations. Follow emergency action plan and procedures established in the event of an emergency; maintain order in the pool and adjoining areas. Responsible for the availability and safekeeping of emergency equipment (rescue tubes, backboard, signs and other equipment). Instructing swim lessons when there is a need. The Assistant Gymnastics Coach/Instructor will assist in the development of an instructional program; observe and spot athletes as they perform; instruct the in lessons; assist the coach in choreograph routines and selection of music. - Immediate Need - Welcome Center Attendant
The Welcome Center Attendant greets all members/potential members and guests. Communicates and promotes all YMCA programs, activities and services. Conducts tours, processes paperwork and enters data into the membership database. Handles all incoming and outgoing phone calls, maintains cash drawer and processes membership changes. High school diploma or GED, multitasking and customer service experience required. Hours vary early mornings, nights and weekends. The Fitness Attendant will be responsible for the overall supervision of the YMCA building and grounds. The incumbent engages members of the YMCA in an effort to help them reach their membership’s fullest potential and assist them in feeling “connected” to their YMCA by ensuring control in the building, providing a safe environment, cleanliness and enforcing member code of conduct and safety standards. Assistant Group Supervisor
The Assistant Group Supervisor interacts with and provides supervision of school age children. Maintains the general safety and health of the children according to established guidelines. Must be enthusiastic, caring, and energetic. Candidates must be working toward a Human Service degree and have at least two years experience in childcare. Assistant Swim Coach
The Assistant Swim Coach will be responsible for assisting the Head Coach in maintaining safe swimming conditions in the pool, deck and surrounding pool areas. Create a safe and positive atmosphere that promotes swimmer safety and engagement in accordance with YMCA swim team policies and procedures. Provide a safe and knowledgeable swim team work out for the swimmers. Swim coaching experience preferred. Responsible for the delivery and quality of massages and creating a healthy stress free environment for relaxing. This person will enhance the massage therapy program by providing a variety of massages, conducting sessions professionally, and helping to promote and grow our program through an ability to attract clients.
