- Immediate Need -  Lifestyle Coach:YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program

Responsibilities: Will serve as facilitators by implementing the standard curriculum in an effective, compelling way and supporting and guiding participants in the program which consists of 16 one-hour weekly sessions, followed by eight one-hour monthly sessions. Opportunities will be ongoing.  Must maintain at least one program cohort per year. Coaches are responsible for recording weekly participant data that includes attendance, weight, physical activity and food tracker maintenance.

RATE OF PAY:   $12.50 /hr

HOURS:  3 hrs/week (variable)

REQUIREMENTS: HS Diploma or GED+ basic knowledge of health, nutrition & fitness       

Must pass a two day training ($7.25/hr rate),attend a 2 hr. web-based software training& a 30-minute web-based HIPAA training.

Responsibilities: Assist with overall maintenance of the Membership Department while demonstrating professionalism in performing duties and interacting with staff. Duties include data entry, proofing/editing marketing materials & membership engagement.

- Immediate Need -  Early Childhood Learning Center Head Teacher

This is a year round, full time position in our Early Childhood Learning Center. Experience with maintaining and operating a toddler classroom, inclusive of all curriculum requirements, adhering to all licensing standards and maintaining all expectations that come with being a Keystone STARS 3 center. Dedicated, enthusiastic, energetic individual who has passion for young children is a must!  Qualifications include First Aid/CPR certification, background checks (Act 33 & 34, FBI) and a pre-employment physical/tuberculin test. Must have at a minimum an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education in addition to child care experience. Starting hourly rate is $9.00 based on education and experience.

- Immediate Need -  Administrative Assistant

The Greensburg YMCA is looking for an Administrative Assistant to provide support with day to day tasks, personnel and payroll administration, applicable laws, handling and processing of all committee minutes, membership letters and other administrative duties as assigned. This position will be the point of contact for volunteers within the community, as well as, managing the volunteer tracking process.  We are also looking for someone that has an interest in learning special events and is comfortable presenting in large groups.

The ideal candidate would have at least one (1) year of basic clerical experience with an Associate’s degree preferred (but not required).

This position is a part time position not to exceed 29 hours per week with the flexibility of working from home.  The hourly starting rate will be between $9-$11 per hour with Y employee benefits including free membership, discounts on programming, etc.

- Immediate Need -  Assistant Gymnastics Coach/Instructor

The Assistant Gymnastics Coach/Instructor will assist in the development of an instructional program; observe and spot athletes as they perform; instruct the in lessons; assist the coach in choreograph routines and selection of music. Must be able to demonstrate strong gymnastics skills, plan and direct day-to-day operations and have strong communications skills. - Immediate Need -  School Age Child Care Site Director

This is a seasonal position opened for a Site Director in our SACC program. Experience with maintaining and operating a kids program; making sure that all programs be administered in a manner which is consistent with our licensing, and safety standards. - Immediate Need -  Welcome Center Attendant

The Welcome Center Attendant greets all members/potential members and guests. Communicates and promotes all YMCA programs, activities and services. Conducts tours, processes paperwork and enters data into the membership database. Handles all incoming and outgoing phone calls, maintains cash drawer and processes membership changes. High school diploma or GED, multitasking and customer service experience required. Hours vary early mornings, nights and weekends. This is a part-time position with a pay range of $8.00 – $10.00 per hour based on experience.  Voluntary benefits available.

 

- Immediate Need -  Adult Training Facility  -  Case Manager

Responsibilities: Daily care, training, and supervision of adults with intellectual & developmental disabilities. Must have knowledge and comply with all standards related to the maintenance and prevention of health and safety issues. One case manager must be present for every six individuals while at the facility, but also a one on one position may be assigned.

RATE OF PAY:  $10.00 – $13.00/Hr based on experience + voluntary benefits

- Immediate Need -  Head Maintenance

Responsibilities: Performs maintenance duties, repairs, installations, inspections and janitorial duties according to local, state, federal regulations and our standards. This position will be required to maintain and improve the facilities and properties. Ensure maintenance work meets or exceeds expectations as outlined per assignment for safety, quality, service, timeliness, and cost effectiveness. Maintains related supplies and work area. Ensures work records and work-related documentation are current/accurate.

RATE OF PAY:  $11.00 – $13.00/Hr based on experience + voluntary benefits

HOURS PER WEEK:  40     (exempt/salaried)

- Immediate Need -  Janitor

Responsibilities: Perform routine building cleaning under supervision, including trash removal; mopping, stripping, buffing of floors; window cleaning; dusting, dust-mopping, sweeping; furniture polishing; periodic pressure cleaning; cleaning carpets, vents, machines. Upkeep of the exterior of the building & grounds. Other duties as assigned.

Assistant Group Supervisor

The Assistant Group Supervisor interacts with and provides supervision of school age children. Maintains the general safety and health of the children according to established guidelines. Must be enthusiastic, caring, and energetic. Candidates must be working toward a Human Service degree and have at least two years experience in childcare.
