CHANGE A LIFE…ONE STORY AT A TIME!

2011 Annual Support Campaign

The Annual Support Campaign is a volunteer-driven effort to raise the funds needed to provide program support and financial assistance to children, families and active older adults in the Greensburg YMCA Community. To ensure that no one is denied a chance to participate because of the inability to pay, we truly need your help.

As a benefactor, you are ensuring that everyone is given the opportunity to benefit from programs that teach principles that will positively impact their lives and our community.

Pledge to Make a Difference!

Our promise is to provide exceptional programs for EVERYONE! Your generosity helps ensure this promise, and your partnership is vital to the Greensburg YMCA’s commitment to finding solutions, transforming lives and creating lasting community impact.

Our Campaign Goal

Membership and program fees at the YMCA do not cover all the costs to support these vital community programs.

To ensure that no one is turned away because of inability to pay, we truly need the help of volunteers and donors such as yourself.

Through the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign, your contribution helps us provide program support and financial assistance to families who need it in our community. By working together, we give all kids the opportunity to grow stronger in spirit, mind and body.

YMCA PLANNED GIVING

Welcome to the Planned Giving web site for the Greensburg YMCA. Just what is a Planned Gift? Generally speaking, a “planned gift” is a means through which a charitable gift is committed to a charity through a donor’s estate plan that comes to fruition after the lifetime of the donor. Usually one of the following methods is used:

  • Provision in one’s will or revocable trust.
  • Life insurance plan beneficiary designation.
  • Retirement plan beneficiary designation.
  • Life estate gift (remainder interest in real property).

Quick Links

Some gift planning vehicles, called life income gifts, provide income during one’s lifetime, tax benefits, and pass onto the charity after the donor’s lifetime. Examples of these gift vehicles include:

  • Pooled Income Fund.
  • Charitable Gift Annuity.
  • Charitable Remainder Trust.
  • Charitable Lead Trust.

The Greensburg YMCA Established the YMCA Heritage Club to recognize individuals and families who have designated a gift through their estate to benefit the YMCA Endowment Fund on behalf of the association and/or one of its branches and/or programs.
