Build confidence. Strengthen your skills. Create a safer gym.
Join us for a hands-on Safety and Spotting Master Class designed for recreational and competitive gymnastics coaches at every experience level. This five-hour event includes four hours of instruction, demonstrations and practical training, plus a one-hour lunch break.
The clinic will be led by Steve Hass, a nationally recognized gymnastics educator and industry expert with more than 40 years of experience in coaching, safety and gymnastics equipment. Steve is a USAG coach, AAI regional sales manager and USAG National Safety Instructor of the Year.
Coaches will learn practical techniques they can immediately apply to strengthen instruction, improve athlete safety and create a more confident training environment. Sessions will be interactive and may include participant-driven topics based on the needs of those attending.
Topics may include:
• Safe and effective spotting techniques
• Skill progressions and drills
• Coaching fundamentals
• Risk management and injury prevention
• Equipment setup and best practices
• Athlete development and class management
• Questions and problem-solving for real coaching situations
