The United Way of Westmoreland County’s Partner of Distinction Award was presented to the Greensburg YMCA on April 10 “for advancing the common good and creating opportunities for a better life for all.”

The Greensburg YMCA is honored to be recognized as a Westmoreland County United Way Partner of Distinction and offer our thanks to our Y team. Employee gift contributions increased by 72% in 2012 and we had an increase of over 500% in employee participation. Westmoreland County and its nonprofit agencies must work together to be successful and our employees understand that connection. The Y leadership team is communicating and educating its members and staff on the importance of community and knowing that together we all win. We look forward to continuing to grow our IMPACT and our reach.
