Before & After School Enrichment (BASE)
The Greensburg YMCA BASE program is a positive environment in which children can thrive. The program is set up center based with a variety of stations available for the child to choose from. All sites are at a STAR 1 level through the Keystone STARS program, and licensed by the Department of Human Services. Curriculum is centered around the Y’s Mission and Values which are Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibilities. Each month there will be a central theme that all activities will be based on. Participants can expect to keep active through organized play along with crafts, free art, block building, music, group games, and homework/study time. We also provide healthy afternoon snacks to each child.
K-5th grade
The Greensburg YMCA recognizes the increasing need for BASE. Through qualified staff, we strive to provide a positive environment of safety, support and care. The program is designed according to the YMCA philosophy of the development of spirit, mind and body. We promote the YMCA values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility.

Registration Deadlines:
All registration must be turned in and completed in full at least 5 business days prior to anticipated start date. Your child will not be able to start until you are given the go ahead by the Director or Coordinator.
Pricing
Prices are weekly. Full-time is 4-5 days; Part-time is 1-3 days. We accept new enrollment throughout the year based on our capacity and current number of children enrolled. There is a non-refundable registration fee for each child due at the point of enrollment—sibling discount will be applied as applicable. A minimum number of students required to operate.
2025/26 Pricing
Full-Time AM: $63 per week
Full-Time PM: $69 per week
Part-Time AM: $54 per week
Part-Time PM: $59 per week
Enrolling in both AM & PM qualifies for a weekly discount of $13.00
10% sibling discount | 15% Member Discount
Non-refundable registration fee is $50.
