Aquatics
Dive In and Discover What Moves You
Whether you’re just starting your journey or looking to build on your skills, our aquatics programs offer something for every age and ability. At the Y, water is more than a place to swim—it’s a place to grow, to heal, and to connect.
Swim Lessons & Youth Swim Teams
From infants to adults, our swim lessons build confidence, teach life-saving skills, and inspire a lifelong love of water. Our youth swim teams focus on technique, teamwork, and personal growth in a supportive environment.
Aquatic Group Exercise
Our low-impact water exercise classes—like Happy Hinges—are perfect for those easing back into movement or managing joint pain. Held in our warm-water pool, these classes combine comfort with results, helping you stay active and feel your best.
Open & Lap Swimming
Our main pool offers dedicated lap lanes and open swim times for those looking to stay active, train for events, or simply enjoy time in the water.
Included With Membership
All aquatic group exercise classes are included with your YMCA membership—so you can dive in whenever you’re ready.
Find your flow. Find your strength. Find your Y.

Group Swim Lessons
Build confidence, learn life-saving skills, and have fun in the water! Our group swim lessons are small by design, ensuring every swimmer gets personal attention from our certified instructors. Lessons start in our warm-water pool with parent/child classes and Safety Around Water.

Private Swim Lessons
Experience personalized instruction tailored to your needs and goals. One-on-one time with our certified instructors helps swimmers of all levels build confidence, improve technique, and make meaningful progress in the water.

Greensburg YMCA Stingrays (GYST)
Our pool is home to the Greensburg YMCA Stingrays—where swimmers grow stronger in and out of the water. As a member of the Western Pennsylvania YMCA Swim League (WPYSL) and USA Swimming, GYST offers youth a chance to build skills, teamwork, and confidence through competitive swimming in a supportive environment.

Adult Aquatics
From lap swimming to low-impact group classes, our adult aquatics programs offer something for every fitness level. Enjoy our 6-lane main pool for workouts and swim lessons, or unwind in the warm-water pool with classes like Happy Hinges designed to support joint health and mobility.
