Sunrise Serenity: Meditation, Prayer & Restorative Yoga

Studio A

Start your day with peace and purpose in this calming class that blends meditation, prayer, and restorative yoga. Designed with minimal movement, you’ll hold gentle poses for extended periods, allowing you to relax deeply while focusing on mindfulness, inner stillness, and spiritual connection. Perfect for those seeking tranquility and renewal for both mind and spirit.

Yoga

Studio A

We offer a variety of yoga classes at the Y, all taught by certified 200-hour yoga instructors. Whether you’re looking for a dynamic, movement-based practice or a more relaxing and restorative experience, we have something for you.

Vinyasa Yoga – Flow through poses with breath and movement, building strength, flexibility, and balance.

Restorative Yoga – Slow down, release tension, and restore your body and mind with gentle, supported postures.

WERQ is a wildly addictive cardio dance workout based on trending hip hop and pop music. The mission is to create a judgment-free dance space built on good vibes, a great sweat and a supportive community.

Aqua Dance

Pool

This 45-minute water workout blends easy dance moves with upbeat music for a heart-pumping, joint-friendly class. Great for stay-at-home moms, college students, and older adults—no experience needed! The water supports your body, making it ideal for anyone with arthritis or inflammation.

Cycle

To reserve your bike for a class please call 724.834.0150 or reserve at the front desk. 

Greensburg YMCA members can reserve bikes for cycle classes 24 hours prior and up to one hour before the start of class.

Bikes will be open to non-members one hour before class on a first-come-first-served basis. Everyone who wishes to attend class must reserve a bike and check in at the Welcome Center. You must claim your bike at least five minutes before the start of class, or it will be released to those waiting.

Studio B

This class has our very own “spinologists” who take you through intervals, rolling hills, sprints, climbs, and runs with surges of music hand-picked to motivate and inspire! This is a great workout if you want to burn calories, and increase endurance, and is for patrons of any level of experience.

LES MILLS FITNESS CLASSES

Studio A

Les Mills BODYFLOW: A yoga-based class blending elements of Tai Chi and Pilates, enhances your overall well-being with a soothing soundtrack, and breath-focused exercises, leaving you feeling strengthened, calm, and centered.

Les Mills BODYPUMP & BODYPUMP Express: A barbell class,  that sculpts, tones, and strengthens your entire body rapidly using THE REP EFFECT™ formula—low weight loads, high repetition movements, resulting in efficient fat burning, strength gain, and lean muscle conditioning. Original is 55 minutes while the Express class is just 30 minutes 

Les Mills GRIT: A 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout, that combines barbell, weight plate, and body weight exercises to improve strength, build lean muscle, and achieve fast fitness results with the guidance of motivational coaches and powerful music.

Active Older Adult Fitness Programs

Sit & Fit Level 1: The class is designed to increase the participant’s flexibility, joint stability, dynamic balance, coordination, agility, reaction time, muscular strength, power, and cardiovascular endurance.

Silver & Fit Level 2: Our Silver and Fit Stretch class blends gentle yoga poses with deep stretching, all from the comfort of a chair. Perfect for all fitness levels, this class enhances flexibility, improves posture, and promotes relaxation while offering a supportive environment.

Healthy for Life Level 3: Come move your bodies in a variety of exercises designed to help us age gracefully and stay healthy for life. All ability levels are welcome.

The Greensburg YMCA is very excited to announce that we are a provider of Silver and Fit, Active and Fit, and Silver Sneakers.  Insurance holders membership fees will be paid by the insurance provider. The classes listed below are also offered free to private paying members. The Greensburg YMCA offers a variety of intensity levels of group exercise classes to suit the needs of all members.
